 LOGGING
STATIONS
The Logging Station logs sport-specific metadata and ties
the data directly to the corresponding video. The data separates
into different fields using pre-defined buttons and rosters
to facilitate searches and ensure consistent data entry. Each
Logging Station contains different logging screens for different
sports, but with base functionality common to ensure ease
of use and a short learning curve. Our logger automates as
much of the data entry as is possible and includes intelligent
rosters that know the nuances of each sport.
DIXON HILITE DATABASE
The Hilite Database is designed to meet your needs today
and for many years into the future. The database is non-proprietary,
is based on an industry standard engine, is ready for growth,
is ready to interact with your other systems, and can be
manipulated by your personnel to create new reports and
add other functionality.
DIXON DISTILLER SOFTWARE
The Dixon Distiller Software runs on the Data Server. The
distiller monitors the Database to find interesting tidbits
from the data. The tidbits allow the software to notify
the operators of the story of the particular game, and the
story of the day across all games. Threshold values set
in the distiller are used to notify the operators that a
significant number of instances of a certain event have
taken place in a particular game or across all games. For
example, if 4 penalty shots are registered by halftime of
the early games, a flag is sent to the Hilite Selector.
